Microlending

In Alabama, Seedco Financial offers loans up to $50,000 for small businesses that cannot obtain mainstream financing. These businesses typically are locally owned. Seedco Financial itself offers these small loans in some sites; in other areas, it partners with local lending partners.

• Telecom Transport Services, Inc., Birmingham, AL: working capital to relocate the business to a larger facility, increase staff, lease additional equiment
