Seedco Financial is supported by private and public investors who are interested and involved in creating opportunities in economically distressed communities.
Over the past several years, Seedco Financial grown its assets under management to $200 million. Seedco Financial has built its CRA lending base from $8 million to over $32 million, in large part due to its success in securing commitments from regional banking institutions in its target sites. More recently, in 2007, Seedco Financial signed a management agreement with the United Methodist Pension Fund to place $50 million in pension fund resources in real estate-backed financing in target low-income communities. Seedco Financial has also been awarded $75 million in New Markets Tax Credit allocations over the past several years.
