Growth Opportunity Loans & Services (GOLS) Initiative
The Growth Opportunity Loans & Services (GOLS) Initiative is a unique financing and business assistance program developed by Seedco Financial. The GOLS Initiative is part of Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses (10KSB) program, a $500 million initiative designed to unlock the growth and job-creation potential of 10,000 small businesses across the United States.
The GOLS Initiative provides affordable financing, coupled with strategic mentoring and business support, to select high-growth-potential small businesses in the five boroughs of New York City. These loans are available in amounts ranging from $250,000 to $750,000.
GOLS Initiative Participants
Participants in the GOLS Initiative receive, in addition to loans, a wide range of resources directly from Seedco Financial and through a strategic partnership with the William J. Clinton Foundation’s Economic Opportunity (CEO) Initiative:
- Enrollment in the CEO Consulting Program, a Clinton Foundation program with Booz & Co and the NYU Stern School of Business. Through this program, participants receive a baseline assessment of their business’s operational and financial capabilities by professional management consultants and MBA students that identifies growth opportunities, constraints, and strategic needs.
- Professional business services coordinated by consultants in various specialties including legal, marketing, strategy, human resources, finance/accounting, and/or information technology.
- Enrollment in the Entrepreneur Mentoring Program, a Clinton Foundation program withInc. magazine that provides mentoring from successful business leaders and entrepreneurs.
